Faithful followers,

Please pray for my home state of Colorado. My beautiful state and city, Colorado Springs, are on fire. I know that the High Park Fire reached national news, but there is a second, extremely devastating fire called the Waldo Canyon Fire that just started on Saturday in my city. It is now the top priority fire in the nation, as stated by the federal government. I’m safe, so no worries there, but please pray for an end to this fire.

Today, the fire hit homes and other structures, burning them to the ground. Please pray especially for those who have lost their homes and for all of the evacuees. 

Here are some saints whom I’d suggest asking for intercession:
St. Francis of Assisi - patron saint of nature and animals
St. Florian - patron saint of firefighters
St. Agatha of Sicily - patron saint against natural disasters

Thank you so much for your prayers. Colorado and its people desperately need them.
